Some of you may recall the presentation that Transport Planning officers gave in the Members’ Seminar on 1st March relating to the Local Transport Plan and our preparations for public engagement. We are pleased to let you know that we will be launching our public engagement ‘Let’s Talk Transport’ on Monday 22nd May, and it will run for 8 weeks. In addition to an online survey, paper copies of the survey will be available in libraries and on request by emailing LetsTalk@northyorks.gov.uk or calling 01609 536400. We will also be attending a number of public events to speak to members of the public and encourage them to participate in the engagement. Colleagues in the Communications team will be sending out a toolkit to you next week after the launch, which should also provide useful information. We would be really grateful if you could alert your communities and networks to the survey, share the information and encourage as many people as possible to participate.
