Sherburn in Elmet Town Council is consulted by North Yorkshire Council on every planning application for the Town.
North Yorkshire Council is the planning authority and manages the whole process of planning. Sherburn in Elmet Town Council makes observations or objections which North Yorkshire then consider. Please note that North Yorkshire Council makes the final decision on all planning applications within Sherburn in Elmet.
All planning applications to be considered by North Yorkshire Council are included on an Agenda for each Full Council meeting.
