The Town Council is directly responsible for providing the following services in the town:

The recreation grounds at the Eversley Park, Finkle Hill and the Fairways as well as the Fishing Pond at the site of the Old Bacon Factory

Play areas in the recreation areas, Eversley Park, Fairways and White Rose,  including the provision, regular inspection and maintenance of the play equipment

The allotments on Finkle Hill

Some street lighting

Contracting out the grass cutting of specific areas in the town.
