·North Yorkshire Council is working in Partnership with Sherburn Town Council to improve the public realm along the East Side of Low Street.
· The work consists of upgrading all surfacing using higher quality materials and adding brand-new town centre map and real time bus information and new seating. The project aims to achieve a higher quality town centre.
· The areas we are improving are from the Swan Pub down to Starkey’s Butchers.
· The project is funded through Programme for Growth through Selby District Council and Shared Prosperity Funding.
· The project will start on site on Monday 24th February and the work is due for completion on Friday 8th August 2025.
· The work will be completed in phases to minimise disruption in the town.
